1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern membership, participation, and involvement in activities organised by the Australia Kabaddi Federation (AKF) (“AKF”, “Federation”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
By registering as a member, participant, volunteer, official, or by taking part in any AKF event, competition, or activity, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not participate in AKF activities.
2. Membership
2.1 Eligibility
Membership is open to individuals who meet the eligibility requirements established by AKF. AKF reserves the right to determine eligibility at its discretion.
2.2 Application
To become a member, individuals must:
Complete the official membership application form
Provide accurate and complete information
Pay all applicable membership fees
Submission of an application does not guarantee approval.
2.3 Approval
All memberships are subject to review and approval by AKF. The Federation reserves the right to accept or reject any application without obligation to provide reasons.

Uphold the integrity of kabaddi and the Federation
2.5 Suspension or Termination
AKF reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership if a member:
Breaches these Terms or Federation policies
Engages in misconduct
Acts in a manner detrimental to AKF
3. Participation in Events & Competitions
3.1 Registration
Participants must complete event registration requirements, including submission of forms and payment of fees within specified deadlines.
3.2 Compliance
All participants must adhere to:
Official kabaddi rules
Event regulations
Directions from referees and officials
3.3 Conduct
Participants must behave respectfully and professionally at all times.
AKF reserves the right to refuse participation or remove individuals engaging in inappropriate behaviour.
3.4 Safety & Fitness
Participants acknowledge that kabaddi is a physical sport and agree that:
They are medically fit to participate
They participate at their own risk
They will follow safety guidelines
3.5 Disqualification
AKF reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates rules, engages in misconduct, or fails to comply with event requirements.
4. Code of Conduct
All members and participants must maintain high standards of behaviour.
4.1 Respect & Sportsmanship
Individuals must show respect toward:
Players
Officials
Volunteers
Spectators
4.2 Fair Play
All activities must reflect fairness, integrity, and sportsmanship.
4.3 Prohibited Behaviour
The following conduct is strictly prohibited:
Harassment or abuse
Discrimination of any kind
Violence or intimidation
Unsportsmanlike behaviour
Breaches may result in disciplinary action.
5. Disciplinary Actions
5.1 Investigation
AKF may investigate any suspected breaches of these Terms or Federation policies.
5.2 Sanctions
Sanctions may include:
Warnings
Suspension
Disqualification
Termination of membership
AKF decisions shall be made at its discretion.
5.3 Appeals
Individuals may appeal disciplinary decisions in accordance with AKF’s official appeal procedures.
6. Liability & Risk
6.1 Assumption of Risk
Participation in kabaddi and AKF activities involves inherent risks.
Participants acknowledge and accept these risks.
6.2 Waiver of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AKF shall not be liable for:
Injuries
Losses
Damages
Accidents
arising from participation in Federation activities.
6.3 Insurance
Participants are responsible for obtaining their own insurance coverage where required.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
7.1 Data Collection
AKF may collect personal information for purposes including:
Membership administration
